Hello, I'm Rebekah

Accredited Mental Health Social Worker | AASW Member | 17+ Years' Experience

I am an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker with more than 17 years of professional experience supporting individuals, couples, and families experiencing a wide range of mental health challenges. I am a member of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) and recognised as an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker under Medicare.

My Approach

My therapeutic approach is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practice. I integrate a range of psychological therapies including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed approaches. These approaches allow therapy to be tailored to each individual’s unique circumstances, strengths, and goals.

I have extensive experience supporting individuals and families affected by family and domestic violence and understand the complex emotional, relational, and social impacts these experiences can have. My work in this area focuses on creating a safe and respectful space where individuals feel supported to regain stability, rebuild confidence, and move toward recovery.

In addition to providing therapy, I offer clinical supervision and professional consultation for social workers and other mental health clinicians, including psychologists, occupational therapists, allied health professionals, and mental health nurses. This includes supervision for social workers working toward accreditation as an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker through the AASW, as well as reflective supervision to support professional development and strengthen clinical practice.

I also contribute to social work education in a casual teaching capacity with the University of Western Australia as a Field Liaison Officer, supporting social work students during their field education placements. I am available to provide guest lectures, workshops, and professional presentations for universities and health disciplines across Australia and internationally.

Therapy services at Mindbridge Practice can be accessed through several pathways, including Mental Health Care Plans from GPs under the Medicare Better Access initiative, referrals from psychiatrists or other medical specialists, NDIS psychosocial support plans, Employee Assistance Programs (EAP), workers’ compensation or insurance-funded referrals, and private sessions.

At Mindbridge Practice, my goal is to create a safe, respectful, and non-judgemental space where people feel heard, supported, and empowered to navigate life’s challenges and work toward meaningful and lasting change.
