Privacy and Confidentiality
All sessions are conducted privately. The social worker will be in a secure, private setting, free from observation by others. We may take notes during sessions, and transcripts or records may be stored securely. These will be handled according to the MindBridge Practice Privacy Policy and the AASW Code of Ethics.
There are limits to confidentiality, including:
• Risk of harm to yourself or others;
• Situations involving the safety of a child or vulnerable person;
• Legal requirements such as responding to a court order or subpoena;
• Consent provided by you to share information with third parties.
It is your responsibility to maintain confidentiality of documents, emails, and downloaded content on your own devices. Be aware that even deleted files may be accessible.
