MindBridge Practice – Terms and Conditions
Welcome to MindBridge Practice. MindBridge Practice is a telehealth-based mental health social work service delivered by an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker (AMHSW). Please read the Terms and Conditions carefully. If you agree to the Terms and Conditions, you may use the services offered through the MindBridge Practice website. If you do not wish to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, you may not use our services. By making a payment or booking an appointment, you agree to the Terms and Conditions set forth below.
Acceptance and Changes to Terms
MindBridge Practice reserves the right to modify or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time and without notice. All amendments will take effect immediately upon being posted on the MindBridge Practice website. You are responsible for regularly viewing the Terms and Conditions and checking for updates. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes your agreement to those changes. If you choose not to accept these Terms and Conditions at any point, you may not use the MindBridge Practice website or its services.
Definitions
In the Terms and Conditions, you may be referred to as “you”, “the client”, or “the user”. “MindBridge Practice”, “we”, “our”, or “us” refers to MindBridge Practice, ABN 97847416337, and the Accredited Mental Health Social Worker operating the practice. MindBridge Practice provides services in accordance with the standards of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
Terms of Use
MindBridge Practice services are only available to individuals aged 18 years and over. We do not provide any services to individuals under the age of 18.
Our services are not appropriate if:
• You are in a mental health crisis or require urgent or immediate assistance (please see our emergency contacts page for appropriate phone numbers).
• You are under the influence of alcohol or drugs during the time of your scheduled appointment.
If you are residing outside of Australia, we will consider your eligibility for services on a case-by-case basis due to registration and insurance limitations. Please contact us directly to discuss.
MindBridge Practice may also assess, on a case-by-case basis, whether we are able to work with you if there are active concerns about suicide or harm to self or others. In such cases, you must have access to local mental health services for safety planning and crisis management. We are not a crisis service and cannot provide immediate or emergency support. Please visit our emergency resources page for services that can support you in those situations.
Professional Standards
All social work services are delivered by an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker (AMHSW), who agrees to practice in accordance with the Code of Ethics and Practice Standards outlined by the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
The practitioner will work with you in a professional and ethical manner, provide appropriate support, and maintain confidentiality as outlined in AASW guidelines.

Appointments
Payment details are required to confirm any initial consultation.
If you are eligible for Medicare rebates, you must have a current Mental Health Treatment Plan from your GP and email a copy of it to mindbridgepractice@gmail.com before your first session. Your credit card will be charged the full fee at time of booking, and your Medicare rebate will be processed and deposited into your bank account after the session. If your eligibility cannot be confirmed, you will be responsible for the full session fee.
If you are eligible for bulk billing, you must also provide a valid Mental Health Treatment Plan before your appointment. Bulk billing is offered at our discretion and subject to eligibility.
A review with your GP is required before your 7th session to continue accessing Medicare-funded sessions. If this is not completed in time, your credit card will be charged the full session fee.
MindBridge Practice does not hold tentative appointments. Only confirmed bookings with complete documentation are valid.
Either you or MindBridge Practice may choose to discontinue services at any time, with or without reason. However, no refunds will be provided once an appointment has commenced.
NDIS Participants
MindBridge Practice supports self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants. To book sessions under the NDIS, you must provide a valid plan, support budget information, and a service agreement if required by your plan manager. Appointments will only be confirmed once this information is received. We do not accept agency-managed clients at this time.
Cancellations
Appointments cancelled within 24 to 48 hours of the scheduled time will incur a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the session fee.
Appointments cancelled within 24 hours or not attended at all will incur a cancellation fee equal to 100% of the session fee.
These fees are not eligible for reimbursement from Medicare, private health insurers, or the NDIS. Bulk billed and NDIS clients are not exempt from cancellation fees.
If you are unable to cancel due to an emergency or technical difficulty, please notify us as soon as possible so we can attempt to reschedule and avoid the cancellation fee.
If your practitioner is unable to attend, you will be notified via email and your appointment will be rescheduled.
